Federal Parliamentary Secretary for Information and Broadcasting, Barrister Danyal Chaudhry, has strongly condemned the anti-Pakistan remarks made by Noreen Niazi, calling them unacceptable, unforgivable, and contrary to national interests.
In a statement, Barrister Danyal said Noreen Niazi is raising questions on Maarka-e-Haq to serve her brother's political interests, and her remarks are being deliberately amplified by Indian media to damage Pakistan's image.
He was addressing a rally led by Senior Provincial Minister Maryam Aurangzeb in Rawalpindi. The rally was also attended by Federal Minister for Railways Muhammad Hanif Abbasi, MNAs Tahira Aurangzeb and Malik Abrar, along with a large number of PML-N leaders, workers, and citizens.
Barrister Danyal said the government will not compromise on national security, state dignity, sovereignty, and national interests, and any negative propaganda against Pakistan will be rejected outright.
He added that the politics of Noreen Niazi's brother has been buried, his party is in disarray, and the KP government has failed to deliver on public issues. "Certain elements are trying to divert attention from their political failures by defaming Pakistan, but the nation will never allow such designs to succeed".
The Parliamentary Secretary said the entire nation stands united for the protection of Pakistan's security, sovereignty, stability, and dignity, and the government will continue to strengthen national cohesion.
