Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi extended heartfelt congratulations to the entire nation in his special message on the 78th Independence Day. Mohsin Naqvi said this day represents sacrifices, struggle, and the fulfillment of the dream of independence. He stated that Pakistan is a great blessing of Allah Almighty, and its value must be recognized by every Pakistani. Mohsin Naqvi further said that Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah had declared: "The creation of Pakistan was destined; it was not a gift from anyone but the result of our struggle."
The Interior Minister emphasized that blood, tears, and martyrdom were the price paid for independence, and today’s Pakistan stands on the foundation of those sacrifices. He said the nation salutes the priceless sacrifices of millions of Muslims who kept the flame of freedom alight. He stressed that the martyrs who laid down their lives for the peace and defense of the homeland are the crown of our nation’s pride. Their great sacrifices will always be remembered by the nation, and he paid tribute to the resolve and courage of the families of the martyrs, stating that the families of the martyrs are our own families.
Mohsin Naqvi further said that in the battle for truth, by inflicting a crushing defeat on the enemy, Pakistan has proven that "Faith, Unity, Discipline" remain our greatest strength, identity, and guarantee of survival. The enemy has been given a clear and forceful message that this is the Pakistan of 2025, fully capable of defending itself. The victory in the battle for truth has added even more joy to the Independence Day celebrations.
