Finance Minister Senator Muhammad Aurangzeb engages with institutional investors at JP Morgan Seminar on “Pakistan’s Economic and Monetary Policy Outlook”
Federal Minister for Finance and Revenue, Senator Muhammad Aurangzeb, held a productive engagement with institutional investors at a seminar organized by JP Morgan on “Pakistan’s Economic and Monetary Policy Outlook.”
The Minister briefed participants on the stable macroeconomic outlook of the country, highlighting the twin surpluses, lowest inflation in years, healthy foreign exchange reserves, and sound debt management. He informed that these developments had resulted in the sovereign credit rating of Pakistan being upgraded by Fitch.
During the session, the Minister also expressed concern over the loss of tourists’ lives in the recent terrorist incident in India, observing that Pakistan condemns terrorism in all its forms and manifestations.
The seminar concluded with a Q&A session where the Finance Minister responded to investors’ queries.
