Federal minister for Railways, Muhammad Hanif Abbasi inaugurates Khushaal khan khattak express.

Federal Minister for Railways, Muhammad Hanif Abbasi, inaugurated the Khushhal Khan Khattak Express at Peshawar Cantt Station. In his address, the Minister stated, “The Khushhal Khan Khattak train is the lifeline connecting Southern Punjab, Sindh, and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.” He further added, “After five years, the whistle of Khushhal Khan Khattak will blow again. I thank the people of Peshawar for honoring me.”

The Minister emphasized the importance of rail travel, saying, “Trains are the most reliable mode of transportation; even when other services are halted, trains continue to operate.” He highlighted that this initiative aims to enhance connectivity between Peshawar and Karachi, marking a significant step towards modernization in Pakistan Railways.

Minister Abbasi outlined the government’s commitment to improving the welfare of railway employees, stating, “Our goal is to enhance the education and health of our staff. Under the Prime Minister’s vision, we have declared Railways as a strategic asset.” He assured that the government is moving towards partnerships, not privatization, emphasizing, “We are practical people who love Pakistan; our lives and property belong to the nation.”

Addressing national security concerns, the Minister remarked, “We will not falter on weak paths; we will work to protect our borders. No Pakistani will be left weak.” He reiterated the government’s stance on defense, stating, “We have responded to six attacks in retaliation to India’s five; we have always shown resolve in responding to India’s aggression.”

Minister Abbasi also discussed economic improvements, saying, “Our economy has improved under the Prime Minister’s vision. Foreign investment is increasing, inflation is decreasing, and our reserves have strengthened.” He emphasized unity, stating, “We are all Pakistanis; there is no difference between us. All provinces together make Pakistan.”

The Minister praised the resilience of the nation’s youth, stating, “Our youth have worked steadfastly and sent a clear message to India that we will protect our country.” He assured that the government is committed to defending the nation’s borders and maintaining a path of peace.

In closing, Minister Abbasi expressed his support for the railway staff, stating, “I commend the courage of our train drivers. After clearance, the driver of Jafar Express resumed service three days later; this is determination and bravery.” He concluded, “We have taken steps to defend our nation; no conspiracy of our enemies can succeed.”
