The first meeting of the Committee formed by the Government regarding press leak in daily Dawn was held in Islamabad on 10^th November, 2016 at 11.00 a.m. Meeting was presided by Justice (Rtd) Aamer Raza Khan, Chairman of the Committee.

Among other things, it was unanimously decided by the Committee that one of its members will interact with media as matter under consideration is of national security.

The Committee also directed that speculative reports about the matter by the media should be avoided until a definitive conclusion is reached in the matter.
