Minister of State and Chairman of the Pakistan Virtual Assets Regulatory Authority (PVARA), Bilal Bin Saqib, met with U.S. Chargé d’Affaires Natalie Baker to discuss Pakistan’s evolving regulatory framework for digital assets.
During the meeting, Chairman PVARA briefed the U.S. Chargé d’Affaires on the rapid developments taking place in Pakistan’s digital assets sector and the country’s efforts to establish a modern and robust regulatory framework.
The meeting also included discussions on innovation, financial transparency, and the future of the digital economy.
“Pakistan is developing a modern and robust regulatory framework for the digital assets sector,” said Bilal Bin Saqib.
He said that Pakistan is laying the foundations for a digital economy while keeping the future of the financial system in view.
“Through innovation and financial transparency, Pakistan is charting a new direction for its digital economy,” he added.
