Under the leadership of its Managing Director, Senator Capt. Shaheen Khalid Butt, Pakistan Bait-ul-Mal (PBM) held another Virtual E-Kachehri, providing citizens from across the country with a direct, transparent and accessible forum to raise their grievances and seek assistance.
The virtual session, held at PBM Headquarters, Islamabad, brought together beneficiaries and members of the public through an online platform to facilitate prompt redressal of issues concerning medical treatment assistance, educational stipends, financial support and rehabilitation programmes.
During the one-hour interactive session, the participants from different parts of the country directly presented their cases and concerns. The matters raised primarily related to medical assistance, disbursement of educational stipends, eligibility for PBM support and urgent financial difficulties.
The Managing Director personally heard each case, examined the concerns in real time and issued directions to the relevant departments for prompt action and timely resolution, reinforcing PBM’s commitment to responsive and people-centred service delivery.
Addressing the participants, Senator Capt. Shaheen Khalid Butt emphasized that the growing scale and complexity of poverty-related challenges require a proactive, inclusive and technology-enabled approach to social protection. He underscored the importance of continuously improving mechanisms for identifying, assessing and responding to the needs of vulnerable segments of society. The Managing Director directed PBM officers to strengthen digitalization, transparency, accountability and inter-departmental coordination for prompt resolution of public complaints. He reaffirmed PBM’s commitment to ensuring timely, transparent and dignified support for every deserving citizen.
