The Federal Constitutional Court of Pakistan has announced that, in view of the closure of the Red Zone in Islamabad and the anticipated difficulties for lawyers, litigants, and court officials, no judicial work will be conducted at the Principal Seat, Islamabad, on Wednesday, April 22, 2026.
?This decision has been taken by the Hon’ble Chief Justice in exercise of powers under Rule 5 of Order II of the Supreme Court Rules, 2025.
?As a result, the cause list for April 22, 2026, stands cancelled. However, all officers and staff have been directed to continue their duties from home and remain within their respective stations.
?All four Branch Registries of the Court will remain open to carry out judicial and administrative functions as per routine.
