The Federal Constitutional Court of Pakistan hereby announces that, owing to the closure of the Red Zone in Islamabad, the Court will remain closed on Monday, 20 April.
A formal notification to this effect has been duly issued by the Court.
According to the notification, in consideration of the difficulties faced by learned counsel, litigants, and court staff, the Hon’ble Chief Justice has directed that all officers and members of staff shall perform their official duties from their respective homes. Furthermore, all concerned personnel have been instructed not to leave their station (Islamabad) to ensure the smooth and continuous functioning of judicial business.
It is further stated that the branch registries of the Court shall remain operational for the conduct of routine judicial work. The cause list has also been suitably adjusted in accordance with the prevailing circumstances.
The Court remains committed to ensuring uninterrupted access to justice and the efficient disposal of cases despite the prevailing situation.
