Ambassador of Türkiye Calls on Federal Health Minister Mustafa Kamal

The Ambassador of Türkiye met today with Federal Minister for Health, Mr. Mustafa Kamal, to discuss avenues of cooperation in the health sector and matters of mutual interest.

Federal Minister Mustafa Kamal highlighted that Pakistan and Türkiye share decades-long brotherly and deep-rooted relations. He underscored the importance of strengthening bilateral cooperation to promote investments between the two countries.

The meeting focused on enhancing collaboration for a more effective and modern healthcare system through technology transfer. Both sides also discussed measures to promote health tourism in Pakistan and steps for local vaccine production. Furthermore, they explored opportunities to strengthen academic partnerships between doctors and nurses of both countries.

Minister Mustafa Kamal emphasized that Pakistan and Türkiye can benefit immensely from each other’s experiences in the health sector. He added that, in line with the vision of the Prime Minister of Pakistan, comprehensive reforms are being implemented in the health sector.

The Ambassador of Türkiye appreciated the ongoing reforms and commended Pakistan’s commitment to improving its healthcare system.
