The Chairman Senate said that Bilawal Bhutto Zardari is a torchbearer of democracy and a shining symbol of young leadership, who has courageously represented Pakistan’s stance at the international level. He has effectively highlighted Pakistan’s sacrifices in the fight against terrorism to the world and showcased the professional capabilities of the Pakistan Army and Pakistan Air Force during the recent encounter between India and Pakistan.
Yousaf Raza Gillani further stated that this honour for the Party Chairman is a matter of pride not only for the Pakistan Peoples Party but for the entire nation. “The Pakistan Peoples Party has made historic sacrifices for democracy, and this honour for Bilawal Bhutto is a remarkable recognition of our democratic struggle,” he said.
