Dr. Musadik Malik meets green startups and pledges full support for youth-led carbon and clean energy innovation

Federal Minister for Climate Change and Environmental Coordination, Dr. Musadik Malik, held a productive meeting with Parliamentary Secretary for the Ministry of Defense, Ms. Zeb Jaffer, along with several emerging green startups working on clean energy and carbon credits.

The Minister met with Carbon Croft, a carbon advisory firm committed to helping Pakistan transition toward net-zero carbon emissions. Discussions focused on the company’s innovative role in facilitating carbon market mechanisms and climate finance solutions.

Dr. Musadik Malik also engaged with representatives from Carbon Flora, a green startup aiming to democratize access to carbon credits for individual users and create greater public awareness of carbon offset opportunities.

The Minister expressed keen interest in the potential of such youth-led, innovative initiatives and reaffirmed his commitment to encouraging carbon market development in Pakistan. He highlighted the government’s resolve to support clean energy innovation and create enabling pathways for young entrepreneurs working on green solutions across the country.
