A farewell reception was hosted yesterday by the Embassy of Denmark in honour of H.E. Ambassador Jakob Linulf, who is departing after completing his tenure in Pakistan.
The Ambassador warmly welcomed the Honourable Federal Minister for National Heritage and Culture, Mr. Aurangzeb Khan Khichi, who attended the event as the chief guest.
During the reception, a productive discussion took place between the Danish Ambassador and the Federal Minister, focusing on cultural collaboration and areas of mutual interest.
The dialogue centered on enhancing Pakistan’s cultural exchange, promoting tourism, and strengthening bilateral ties through arts and heritage initiatives.
Mr. Usman Shah, CEO of Niftysphere Institute of Arts and Design, also participated in the event alongside the Minister.
On the occasion, Mr. Usman Shah proudly presented a culturally significant painting to the Danish Ambassador on behalf of the Ministry of National Heritage and Culture, Government of Pakistan. The artwork, which beautifully represents the rich cultural heritage of Sindh, was gifted as a token of appreciation and cultural goodwill.
This gesture underscored the ongoing commitment to promoting cultural diplomacy and artistic exchange between the two nations.
Meanwhile, on the occasion Federal Minister Aurangzeb Khan Khichi also met with the Italian Ambassador, Ms. Marilina Armellin. Both dignitaries discussed potential collaboration in the fields of heritage and culture.
