Federal Minister for Poverty Alleviation and Social Safety, Syed Imran Ahmed Shah, has said that addressing the deprivations of the people of Balochistan is among the top priorities of his ministry. He stated that special focus is being given to providing resources and employment opportunities for skilled and educated youth of Balochistan.

The Federal Minister also commented on recent statements from Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, saying that Modi, bruised by political defeat, is once again making aggressive remarks against Pakistan in an attempt to save face before his own people. He warned that if India commits aggression again, it will face an even greater defeat than before.
He added that Pakistan’s armed forces are full of spiritual strength and professional capabilities, and the entire nation stands firmly with them.
Regarding water issues, he firmly stated that India cannot stop Pakistan’s water.
Federal Minister Syed Imran Ahmed Shah also said that Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and his cabinet are working tirelessly to provide relief to the public in electricity bills and to bring down inflation.
He emphasized that the Pakistan Muslim League (N) government has always focused on providing maximum relief to the common man.
