Federal Minister for Finance and Revenue Senator Muhammad Aurangzeb held a luncheon meeting with American corporate leaders on the sidelines of the WB/IMF Spring Meetings 2025, Washington D.C. today. The meeting was held under the auspices of the US-Pakistan Business Council at the US Chamber of Commerce. During the meeting, Finance Minister briefed the participants on the improving macroeconomic indicators of the country. Highlighted the reforms being undertaken in the areas of taxation, energy, SOEs and privatization. He also underscored the importance of regional trade, diversification of markets and sectors. He further thanked the US delegation for attending the Pakistan Mineral Investment Forum 2025. He also expressed the desire to continue collaboration with the US in mines and minerals sector.
