Federal Minister for Finance and Revenue Senator Muhammad Aurangzeb met with with Mr. Robert Kaproth, Assistant Secretary of the US Department of Treasury on the sidelines of the WB/IMF Spring Meetings 2025, Washington D.C. today. During the meeting, the Finance Minister briefed him on the macroeconomic indicators of the country. He highlighted the reforms being undertaken in the areas of taxation, energy, privatization, SOEs, pensions and debt management. The Minister also underlined the importance of Country Partnership Framework (CPF) of World Bank in dealing with existential challenges facing the country including population and climate.
