The Federal Minister for Overseas Pakistanis and Human Resource Development, Chaudhry Salik Hussain, participated in an Iftar dinner event at Pakistan Sweet Homes in Islamabad. The Patron in Chief of Pakistan Sweet Homes, Zamarud Khan, welcomed the Federal Minister upon his arrival at the institution. The Federal Minister inspected various departments of the organization and met with the students. He also praised the role of Zamarud Khan in supporting orphaned children and helping them become productive citizens of society. While speaking on this occasion, Federal Minister Chaudhry Salik Hussain stated that Pakistan Sweet Homes is an exemplary institution for the upbringing of orphaned children and girls. He emphasized that both education and training are essential in Pakistani society. He noted that today's youth are, to some extent, disillusioned with the country's politicians. There was a time when young people were advised to stay away from politics due to fears of unrest and chaos. However, it is encouraging that today's youth are showing an interest in politics. The youth today openly discuss political and state affairs and challenge their leaders on various issues. Currently, our youth are facing numerous problems, which have led to rising trends of disappointment, hatred, anger, chaos, and insecurity among them. Federal Minister Chaudhry Salik Hussain remarked that times have changed, and it is necessary to inform the youth about what measures politicians are taking for their better future. Everyone must strive not to indulge in political maneuvering, blame games, and bickering, but rather to work towards eliminating hatred, conflict, and intolerance. Zamarud Khan, the Patron in Chief of Pakistan Sweet Homes, stated that his mission is to serve the country and improve the future of the children and girls living in Sweet Homes.
