PR No. 247
Message of Federal Minister for Law and Justice and Human Rights, Senator Azam Nazeer Tarar for Christmas;
Islamabad: December 24, 2024

"On this joyous occasion of Christmas, I extend heartfelt greetings to the Christian community in Pakistan and around the world. Christmas is a time of peace, compassion, and togetherness, reminding us of the values of love, kindness, and selflessness that are essential for building a harmonious society. Quaid-e-Azam envisioned a Pakistan where citizens of all religions would enjoy equal rights, dignity, and freedom; a vision safeguarded by our Constitution, ensuring equality, justice, and protection for all. The teachings of Prophet Isa (peace be upon him), centered on love, patience, humility, and service to humanity, serve as a timeless guide for all of us, regardless of our faith. As a revered Prophet of Allah, his life and message remind us of our shared responsibility to care for one another and to build a world rooted in compassion and justice. The Christian community in Pakistan has made invaluable contributions to our nation's progress, particularly in education, healthcare, and social welfare. Their commitment and dedication continue to inspire us all. As equal citizens, it is our collective responsibility to foster an inclusive environment where diversity is celebrated, and everyone feels secure, valued, and respected.
