Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi visited the residence of Shaheed Major Babar Khan in Muslim Colony, Mianwali today. Interior Minister met and condoled his father, Noor Khan. The Minister also met with Major Babar Khan's brothers, Captain Nasser and Suhail Khan, and expressed his grief. While praising the courage and bravery of Major Babar Khan's father Interior Minister said that the nation was proud of parents like him. He added that the entire nation salutes the father of Shaheed Major Babar Khan, and his courage is a symbol of the strong existence of Pakistan. Interior Minister further stated that we believe that martyrs are alive, and Major Babar Khan is also alive in our hearts and will remain so. He prayed for the elevation of the ranks of the martyred and the patience of his family. While paying rich tributes to Major Babar Khan's bravery Interior Minister said that a nation which has brave sons like him cannot be defeated by enemies. He said that Major Babar Khan is a true hero of the nation, who laid down his life to defeat the nefarious designs of terrorists. He added that the nation is proud of such brave sons greatly values their supreme sacrifices. Interior Minister stressed that operations against terrorists and their facilitators will continue with full force. Brigadier Amir from Frontier Corps Khyber Pakhtunkhwa South, Deputy Commissioner Mianwali, DPO Mianwali, and senior civil and military officials were also present on the occasion.
