Pakistan Prime Minister’s Special Assistant on Human Rights and Women Empowerment, Mushaal Hussein Mullick, has expressed deep sorrow over the death of Professor Nazir Ahmed Shawl, a prominent figure in the Kashmir freedom movement, who breathed his last in London on Friday. According to Kashmir Media Service, Mushaal Mullick in a statement said Professor Shawl, a multilingual individual, educator, poet, and human rights advocate, was a true advocate of the Kashmiris’ right to self-determination. She said that Professor Shawl’s death is a big loss to the global voice of the Kashmir cause. It is to be mentioned here that Professor Shawl breathed his last in London on Friday.
