Delegation of Capital Union of Journalists (CUJ) led by Syed Mujtaba Rizwan met with Principal Information Officer Dr. Tariq Mehmood Khan. The delegation congratulated Principal Information Officer Dr. Tariq Mehmood Khan on his assumption of office and appreciated Dr. Tariq Mehmood Khan's efforts to resolve the problems faced by newspapers and journalists. The delegation told PIO Dr. Tariq Mehmood Khan that many non-professional people have joined as the publishers, due to which problems are arising. Similarly, dummy newspapers are also a problem, and asked for encouragement of small newspapers over their performance. Ghulam Farid Anjum, Zaki Dogar, Rao Ahsan, Sardar Fayyaz Anjum, Muhammad Maqsood, Haji Dawood and Naeem Rouhani and others were also included in the delegation. On this occasion, Principal Information Officer, Dr. Tariq Mehmood Khan assured the delegation that systematic procedures against fake newspapers will be carried out and more work will be done on fair distribution of advertisements. Principal Information Officer Dr. Tariq Mehmood Khan said that the problems faced by journalists will be solved on priority basis.
