Delegation of Rawalpindi Islamabad Union of Journalists (RIUJ) met with Principal Information Officer, Dr. Tariq Mehmood Khan under the leadership of President Syed Qaisar Abbas Shah. The delegation congratulated Dr. Tariq Mehmood khan over holding his office and informed him about issues faced by journalists that includes difficulty in the process of accusation of health card, problems faced by newspaper owners regarding salaries of employees , facilitating the acquisition of accreditation cards. The delegation informed about the problems faced by the regional newspapers. The delegation also included Malik Rasheed, Raheel Anwar Swati, Zarar Farid, Arif Malik, Imran Maqsood and Muzaffar Bhatti. On this occasion, Principal Information Officer Dr. Tariq Mehmood Khan assured the delegation that the issues of the regional newspapers will be resolved on priority bases and process of obtaining health cards will be made easy. Principal Information Officer Dr. Tariq Mehmood Khan also said that a comprehensive policy will be made under his supervision to solve all the problems faced by the journalists and regional newspapers .
