Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif will spend a second hectic day in New York today. Before leaving for UN HQs, Ms. Karistalina Georgieva, Managing Director IMF, will call on Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif. On reaching UN HQs, the Prime Minister will be called on by Mr. David Malpss, President of the World Bank Group. Later on, the Prime Minister will attend the High-Level General Debate of the 77th Session of UN General Assembly (UNGA77). The Prime Minister will also chair a zoom meeting on flood operations in Pakistan in order to review the pace of various flood relief and rehabilitation activities in the flood-hit areas across Pakistan. The Prime Minister will also have meetings with H.E Csaba Korosi, President of the 77th Session of the UN General Assembly: and Ms. Ursals von der Leyen, President of the EU Commission. The Prime Minister Will also attend a Closed Door Leaders Gathering on COP 27, to be organised by Egypt. The Prime Minister will have a bilateral meeting with H.E Sauli Niinisto, President of Finland. In the evening, the Prime Minister will arrive at the American Museum of Natural History to attend a reception hosted by President of the United States, Mr. Joe Biden on the occasion of 77th Session of UNGA.
