Ambassador of Qatar in Pakistan His Excellency Sheikh Saoud bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani called on Federal Minister for Aviation Khawaja Saad Rafique at his office today. Both sides discussed avenues to improve cooperation and partnership in the area of aviation. During the meeting, Federal Minister for Aviation remarked that a developed air transport system is vital to economic development. He added that trade, tourism, agriculture and people to people contact all rely on air transport system. “We are striving to strengthen and improve the air transportation system to achieve the object of economic growth”, he said. The ambassador and the Federal Minister resolved to further strengthen bilateral cooperation and improve the air transport linkages between the two countries.
