PR No.150 MESSAGE OF CONDOLENCES ON THE PASSING OF SENIOR AND WELL KNOWN JOURNALIST MR. IDREES BAKHTIAR Islamabad, May 30, 2019

The Chairman 8th Wage Board, Former Justice Hasnat Ahmad Khan has expressed deep sadness upon going through the news of the passing away of senior and well known journalist Mr. Idrees Bakhtiar, former President PFUJ (Dastoor). Justice Hasnat said that Mr. Idrees Bakhtiar will be remembered as a celebrated journalist for his illustrious contribution in the field of Journalism. Besides National Newspapers he was also attached with BBC, Voice of America, Telegraph (Kolkata) and Arab News. He further said that it would be very difficult to fill in the vacuum caused by death of Mr. Idrees Bakhtiar. Justice Hasnat extended his heartfelt condolences to Mr. Idrees’s family as well as to the community of journalists. *-*-*-*
