The Ambassador of Japan, H.E. Kuninori Matsuda, called on the Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Petroleum Mr. Nadeem Babar here on Thursday. Both sides discussed bilateral ties and emphasized the need to further promote Economic and Trade Relations between the two countries. Mr. Nadeem Babar, stated that Pakistan highly valued its ties with Japan which has always extended its support to Pakistan. Mr. Nadeem Babar (SAPM) on Petroleum urged the need to encourage the private sector for making investment in Pakistan where Government has introduced investor friendly policies. The Ambassador of Japan reiterated that the cordial and friendly relations with the two countries would continue to further strengthen in future. *-*-*-*
