PR No.212 Capital Schools To Be Developed As Model For The Whole Country: Dr. Tariq Fazal Chaudhary Islamabad: March 24, 2016

Minister of State for Capital Administration & Development Division Dr. Tariq Fazal Chaudhary has said that Islamabad’s Educational Institutions are being developed as a role model for the whole country according to the vision of Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif. He stated this while chairing a meeting of Academic Authority in Islamabad on Thursday.

Dr. Tariq Fazal Chaudhary has said that learning outcome is the real goal behind the PM Education Reforms Program. Up-gradation of infrastructure and provision of facilities are to provide a conducive and learning friendly environment at schools, he continued. He informed that the process has been initiated for recruitment of 2300 highly qualified new teachers on merit basis under Federal Directorate of Education. A comprehensive teacher’s training program will be stated to keep the teachers abreast with the latest teaching methodologies. The teacher’s trainings will be attached with the career progression and promotions of the teachers. The dream of quality education cannot be realized without qualified teachers, the MoS maintained.

Dr. Tariq Fazal Chaudhary also informed the participants of the meeting that upgradation work of 22 schools/ colleges has been completed in first phase while work on 200 more school/colleges is in progress. Remaining 200 schools will be upgraded in the third phase, he continued, this whole process will take 12 to 18 month time.
