PR No. 67 LAW MINISTER MEETS SYED IFTIKHAR HUSSAIN NAQVI TO DISCUSS LAWS PERTAINING TO AHL-E-TASHI Islamabad: November 13th, 2018

Federal Minister for Law and Justice, Barrister Dr. Muhammad Farogh Naseem held a meeting with Syed Iftikhar Hussain Naqvi, Member of Council of Islamic Ideology, to discuss Shia Family Laws on Tuesday. Mr. Naqvi told the Law Minister that he believed all the issues relating to Shia inheritance and divorce Laws must be resolved in due course. Dr. Farogh Naseem told Mr. Naqvi that the Federal Government will extend its support by introducing the Bill at the National Assembly and the Provincial Assemblies where PTI and coalition is in majority. Since there is a consensus on the Amendment Bill among the Shia clerics and CII, its passage may be ensured in Capital, Punjab, KPK and Baluchistan.
