Mohammad Shehzad Arbab, Adviser to PM on Establishment met with the Asian Development Bank Delegation led by Ms. Xiaohang Yang, Country Director (ADB) at Prime Minister’s Office and discussed the new avenues of partnership and cooperation for transforming Pakistan. The Adviser to PM on Establishment welcomed the ADB Delegations and shared the Government’s vision for transforming Pakistan. He thanked the ADB Delegation on aligning their priorities with PM 100 Days Agenda aimed at bringing real transformation in the country. The ADB delegation highlighted that ADB was a proven development partner of Pakistan, fully committed to help the government successfully implement and deliver its socio-economic agenda to transform the country. The ADB delegation also gave a detailed briefing about their programs and initiatives across the sectors like finance, energy, water, urban infrastructure, agriculture, natural resources, rural development, transport, education, public sector management and health. The delegation further pointed out that the strong partnership with development stakeholders was critical for Pakistan to move onto higher, more sustainable and inclusive growth trajectory to create 2 million additional jobs annually.
