International Conference on great philosopher Allama Muhammad Iqbal will commemorate his rich legacy. This was stated by H.E. Syed Ibne Abbas, Pakistan High Commissioner to the UK. It would be a tribute to the National Poet of Pakistan in the year of his 80th death anniversary, added the High Commissioner, says a press release received from London here today. The High Commission, in collaboration with Urdu Markaz London is organizing a daylong Conference at its premises on 07 July 2018, which will last from 10am to 6pm. The Conference will feature scholars on Iqbaliat and academics from across the world and will conclude on an Urdu Mushaira. The High Commissioner will preside over the Conference. The expected speakers from the Conference are from Pakistan, USA, Canada, India and Europe. They include: Dr Taqi Abedi (Ontario, Canada), Dr Abdur Rehman (USA), Advocate Khalil ur Rehman (Delhi, India), Professor Ekramuddin (JNU, Delhi), Dr Kamran (Oriental College, Punjab University, Lahore), Mrs Saima Kamran (Panjab University, Lahore), Mr Shohab Inayat Malik (Jammu University, India), Professor Iftikhar Malik (University of Bath, UK), Professor Raza Ali Abidi (London), Dr Fatema Hassan (Karachi, Pakistan), Dr Javaid Sheikh (London) and Mr Faizan Arif (London).
