President Mamnoon Hussain has said that the Government will take all possible measures to explore the mineral resources of tribal areas in order to raise the living standards of the people from these areas. The President said this while talking to a delegation from tribal areas led by Ex-Parliamentary Secretary Muhammad Nazir Khan at the Aiwan-e-Sadr on Tuesday. The President emphasized that a through strategy is required to benefit from the mineral recourses of tribal areas. In this regard, public representatives should play an active role so that the quality of life of the people could be improved through the revenues generated from natural resources. The President hoped that the construction of Kurram Tangi Dam will lead towards further development of these areas and the people should fully cooperate with the Government in this respect. The President underscored that his office will make all possible efforts to resolve the issues of these areas.
