PR No. 150 PETROLEUM PRICES Islamabad: 30th June, 2018

The following rates of different petroleum products have been approved for the month of July 2018: Product New Prices w.e.f. 01-7-2018 (Rs. per Litre) Motor Spirit (MS)92 RON Petrol 99.50 Diesel (HSD) 119.31 Kerosene Oil (SKO) 87.70 Light Diesel Oil (LDO) 80.91 On the recommendation of OGRA, Finance Division has approved the new prices of petroleum products w.e.f. 1st July 2018. The increase in the petroleum prices is caused due to increase in petroleum prices in international market and depreciation of Pak Rupee against USD. The financial impact of the above dispensation will be implemented through revision of Sales Tax Rates and Petroleum Development Levy. OGRA had proposed increase in the price of Petrol by Rs. 7.54 per litre, HSD by Rs. 14.00 per litre, SKO by Rs 3.36 per litre and LDO by Rs. 5.92 per litre. Due to tight fiscal position, the Government decided to pass on the full impact of the increase to the consumers. The new prices will be effective from 1st of July 2018 till midnight on 31st July 2018. *****
