PR No.194 Delegation of Vanaspati Manufacturers Association Meets Rana Afzal Islamabad: April 23rd, 2018

A delegation of Pakistan Vanaspati Manufacturers Association, led by Mr. Abdul Waheed, Chairman, called on the Minister of State for Finance, Rana Muhammad Afzal khan here on Monday. The delegation discussed with the Minister tax-related issues faced by the Vanaspati Ghee manufacturers. The delegation requested Minister's support for early release of payments to Ghee Mills by Utility Stores Corporation. Solving the issue, the delegation said would help in resolving the liquidity crunch of the industry. The delegation also on the occasion shared with the Minister latest steps taken by the manufacturers to improve quality of edible oil and Ghee. The Minister assured the delegation of all possible cooperation in resolving their problems. ***** ?
