Talking to a delegation of students from London Business School, one of the leading business and management schools in the world, Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi said that the world must take note of Pakistan’s immense sacrifices in the war against terrorism. The Prime Minister shared that the Government has worked hard to bring peace and now the Government was focused on economic and social development for our citizens. The Prime Minister interacted with the students and answered their questions. Most of these students are visiting Pakistan for the first time. Special Assistant to PM Mr. Ali Jehangir Siddiqui was also present during the interaction. Reviewing Pakistan’s recent economic progress, the Prime Minister said that the Government has established new power plants and allied infrastructure to meet its growing energy requirements. He said that a network of more than 1700 kms of six-lane motorways across Pakistan is being built under the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor, which is an integral part of the Belt and Road Initiative, to improve connectivity within the country and with the broader region. The Prime Minister urged the students to visit various cities of Pakistan and to see for themselves the progress it has made besides witnessing the peace and stability in the country. The students also received a briefing from SAPM Mr. Ali Jehangir Siddiqui regarding the structure and working of the executive branch of the Government and Pakistan’s external relations. The visit of the students was under the Prime Minsters’ Youth Connect Initiative, where students visit PM Office and interact with the Prime Minister so as to enhance their understanding about working of the executive branch and be inspired to get involved in some way with the Government of Pakistan. **
