The event was organized in collaboration with Hashoo Foundation and UGOOD on the occasion of International Women’s Day, in which many people from different parts of society participated. Federal Minister for Human Rights, Mr. Mumtaz Ahmed Tarar, was the chief guest of the event. Federal Minister for Human Rights, Mr. Mumtaz Ahmed Tarar, expressed his views that more than 50 percent of our population consists on women and educated women pave way for educated family and educated society. He stressed on the women’s education that promotion of women’s education is among our top priorities. He suggested that every village and union councils must have at least one school, so that better education can be provided to girls. He appreciated the efforts of Crisis Center for Women and congratulated the participants. A fabulous performance on Women’s Rights has been presented by UGOOD Theater team, in the event. At the ending on the event, Director General, Mr. M. Hasan Mangi presented shields to Ms. Saira Furqan, Manager Crises Center for Women and Mr. Ishtiaq Gondal, C.E.O. UGOOD.
