PR No. 171 Ambassador Masood Khalid Congratulates The First Batch Of Pakistani Students For Completing Chinese Language Course Islamabad: 21 January 2018

The graduation ceremony of the first batch of 66 Pakistani students under the Punjab government Chinese Language Scholarship Programme was held at Beijing Language and Culture University (BLCU). Addressing the graduation ceremony, Ambassador of Pakistan in China Mr. Masood Khalid congratulated the students and advised them to actively contribute towards the friendship between Pakistan and China. He stated that educational cooperation and people-to-people connectivity is a crucial aspect of the bilateral relationship between Pakistan and China as it helps in establishing linkages between the civil societies of both countries. He also emphasized that students must make steadfast efforts towards the development of Pakistan. President of BLCU Mr. Liu Li highlighted the role played by the University in promoting educational cooperation between the two countries. He said that his university will continue to enhance collaboration and would welcome more Pakistani students in future. The event was attended by a large number of people including Vice Chancellor of University of Education Lahore Dr. Rauf-i-Azam, officials from the government of Punjab and faculty members of BLCU ****
