Pakistan High Commission in
Dhaka celebrated birth anniversary of Father of the Nation, Quaid-e-Azam
Muhammad Ali Jinnah, today on 25th December, 2017, in the Chancery. The function was
attended by Bangladesh nationals, Pakistani students and members of the
official staff, says a press release received here today from Dhaka.
Paying homage to the Quaid-i-Azam,
the High Commissioner of Pakistan, H.E. Rafiuzzaman Siddiqui, said that
millions of Muslims of the sub-continent are indebted to the political sagacity
of the Quaid-i-Azam far-sighted, selfless leadership saved them from the
slavery of the Hindu majority. He said that the current miserable condition of
the Indian Muslims amply proves that the decision of the Muslims of India for a
separate homeland was a blessing for them. He emphasized the need for following
the Quaid’s principles of “Unity, Faith and Discipline” which is the practical
way of paying true homage to our Founding Father.
Messages of President and Prime
Minister of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan were read out on the occasion by
the Deputy High Commissioner Mr. Shah Faisal Kakar.
Afterwards, the High Commissioner performed the cake-cutting ceremony of birth anniversary of Quaid-i-Azam Muhammad
Ali Jinnah.
