PR No. 89 Rich Tributes Paid to Holy Prophet (PBUH) at the Embassy of Pakistan Brussels Islamabad: 11 December 2017

In connection with the Holy month of Rabi-ul-Awwal a Mehfil-e-Zikr-e-Nabi (PBUH) was held at the Embassy of Pakistan Brussels. Pakistani community residing in Belgium was invited to attend the event. The participants recited Hamad and Naat and threw light on various aspects of the life and teachings of the Holy Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH), says a press release received from received from Brussels here today.

Speaking on the occasion the Deputy Head of Mission Asif Hussain Memon highlighted the values of tolerance and respect to fellow human beings taught and practiced by the Holy Prophet. Giving examples from the life of Holy Prophet, Mr. Memon elaborated that Prophet Muhammad had always emphasized on taking care of all the human beings and peaceful co- existence. He said that as Muslims, while living in a foreign country it was important to respect the laws and values of the host society and present ourselves as true followers of the Prophet whose whole life was embodiment of compassion for all.

Sayyed Shakeel Haider in his speech highlighted that prophet himself practiced all the good qualities before inviting people to Islam. He said that for good forty years Prophet Muhammad practiced piety, honesty and truthfulness and it was the reason that people believed in Him when he extended message of Islam.

Roshaan Khan a student of KU Leaven threw light on how Prophet Muhammad respected women. He discussed the role and services of Hazrat Khadijah Prophet’s wife towards the spread of Islam. Whereas Yasir Piracha spoke about the values of human rights and dignity of humanity as preached and practiced by the Holy Prophet.

Naat was recited by Arsalan Zahid Farooqi and Dua was offered by Hafiz Noor Angez. In the ladies section Naats were recited by Farah Khan, Yasmin Khan and Nazia Abbasi.
