Advisor to PM Engr. Ameer Muqam presided over a high level meeting pertaining to Gomal Zam Dam, here at CRBC Guest House in D.I.Khan. Advisor to PM was given detailed brief on Gomal Zam and PC-I of Tank Zam.

Advisor to PM Engr. Ameer Muqam directed the WAPDA Officers that power generation should be started as soon as possible from Gomal Zam Dam as due to non generation of power national exchequer losing a huge amount on monthly basis. He also directed the concerned that report on delay reason of electricity production from Gomal Zam be presented in two weeks and also directed the WAPDA officers to complete the process of handling the canal flowing from Goma Zam to Irrigation Department.

Muqam, while presiding the meeting, directed the concerned that approach the Planning Commission for sanction of PC-I of Tank Zam. He said that no stone will be left unturned to provide electricity facilities to masses, claims of electricity production and end of load-shedding will be fulfilled at any cost.
