PR No.192 “Global Change Impact Centre Presented Its Scientific Working Paper On Cop-21 To Federal Minister For Climate Change Zahid Hamid” Islamabad

Federal Minister for Climate Change Zahid Hamid chaired a meeting on COP-21.The Global Change Impact Centre presented its scientific working paper on COP-21.

The purpose of paper is scientific investigation based on clear, generalized, inclusive and most relevant findings. The paper covered different areas of climate change including adaptation, communication, loss and damage, technology, development and transfer. It also talked about general commitments based on institutional arrangements and capacity building.

Global Change Impact Centre is government centre created in 2013 to scientifically investigate the climate change issues.

Federal Minister was also briefed about INDCs.
