PR No.197 Training Programs Vital For Professional Development: Barrister Zafarullah

Barrister Zafarullah Khan, Special Assistant to the Prime Minister (SAPM) and Minister of State for Economic Affairs Division has said that it is very important that training programs must be organized for the training of the universities’ faculties.

He was addressing the closing ceremony for the 5th batch of a training program for non-teaching faculty of Universities titled “Indigenous on Campus Training Program under Modern University Governance” at Allama Iqbal Auditorium, Faisal Mosque Islamabad on Thursday.

Barrister Zafarullah appreciated Higher Education Commission and Institute of Professional Development for conducting this training program for non-teaching faculty of Universities.

He said that universities should organize training programs for its faculties as training programs for the staff are vital for professional development.

Addressing the participants of the training program, Barrister Zafarullah said that we should do hard work with the passion to serving masses, adding that a person on any post or position must always help vulnerable people. Our religion teaches us that we should help other.

Earlier, President International Islamic University Islamabad (IIUI) Dr. Ahmed Yousif Al-Draiweesh welcomed Barrister Zafarullah Khan in the ceremony and offered thanks to him.

At conclusion of the ceremony, Barrister Zafarullah Khan awarded certificates to the participants of the training program.
