President Mamnoon Hussain has emphasized that all steps should be taken for the welfare of the people to ensure improvement in their standard of life.

The President said this while talking to Governor Punjab, Malik Muhammad Rafique Rajwana, who called on him at the Aiwan-e-Sadr, Islamabad on Tuesday.

The President stated that maximum relief should be provided to the people and quality educational and healthcare services be made available to them. Malik Muhammad Rafique Rajwana apprised the President of the developmental activities being undertaken in the Punjab province with specific reference to the ongoing projects in South Punjab which will have a very positive bearing on the life of the people.
