PR No. 18 OUTGOING NAVAL CHIEF CALLS ON DEFENCE MINISTER Islamabad: October 4, 2017

Chief of Naval Staff (CNS) Admiral Muhammad Zakaullah paid a farewell call on the Federal Minister for Defence, Engr.Khurram Dastgir Khan, in the Ministry of Defence on Wednesday, the 4^th Oct 2017. The Minister lauded the services rendered by the outgoing CNS for defence of the motherland during his long meritorious career including the eventful tenure in command of Pakistan Navy.

The Minister also appreciated the contributions made by Admiral Muhammad Zakaullah for strengthening and modernizing the defence and combat capabilities of the Naval Forces of Pakistan. Talking to the CNS, the Minister said the government was taking all necessary measures to strengthen and enhance the capability of its Armed Forces, so as to effectively cope with prevailing challenges and ensure fool proof defence of the national frontiers extended upto Pakistan’s EEZ and the continental shell in the Arabian Sea.
