Ambassador of Pakistan to Bahrain, Javed Malik has said that relations between Pakistan and the Kingdom of Bahrain will receive a renewed boost as the Speaker of National Assembly, Sardar Ayaz Sadiq starts a three day official visit to the Kingdom of Bahrain accompanied by a delegation of Parliamentarians. Speaking about the visit Pakistan’s Ambassador Javed Malik said that “the visit is being held on the invitation H.E Ahmed Ebrahim Al Mullah the Speaker of Council of Representatives of Bahrain, and will be instrumental in consolidating, upgrading and expanding the close fraternal relations between the governments and the people of both countries. “the Honorable Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq will have bilateral meetings with his counterpart, H.E Ahmed Ebrahim Al Mullah , Honorable Speaker of Council of Representatives, as well as the Chairman of the Shura Council, Ali Bin Saleh Al Saleh. Our Speaker will also attend the a session of the Bahraini Parliament.
The Ambassador welcomed the establishment of Pakistan-Bahrain Joint Parliamentary Friendship Group, which also meet with the Speaker and discuss ways to further expand Parliamentary linkages between both countries”. The Friendship Group not only connects the members of Parliament from both countries but also provides a forum to exchange experiences and to pave the way for expansion of people to people contacts between Pakistan and Bahrain.
Speaking about the high level meetings of the Speaker, Ambassador Javed Malik said that, “Speaker National Assembly Sardar Ayaz Sadiq will meet with His Majesty King Hamad Bin Isa Al Khalifa, HRH Prince Khalifa Bin Salman Al Khalifa, and HRH the Crown Prince Salman Bin Hamad Al Khalifa, and re-iterate Pakistan’s commitment to strong, brotherly and wide-ranging relations between both countries and highlight Pakistan’s on-going efforts to boost our ties with Bahrain and the GCC countries. The Speaker will also meet with the Minister of Interior Shaikh Rashid Al Khalifa and other Ministers during his visit. The Speaker of Council of Representatives and the Chairman of Shura Council will host Luncheon and Dinners for Pakistani Parliamentarians to express their warm welcome and the high regards that Bahrain has for Pakistan.
Embassy of Pakistan will also arrange a Community reception which will also provide an opportunity for members of Pakistani community to meet and interact with the Speaker and the accompanying delegation. said Ambassador Javed Malik
