PR No. 248 “30 KM GAS PIPELINE BETWEEN JACOBABAD AND SHIKARPUR WILL SOON BE COMPLETED TO FACILITATE QUETTA AND REST” JAM KAMAL KHAN Islamabad: September 29, 2016

Gas supply to Quetta and connected districts will Inshallah increase after this pipeline is completed, the Minister for state said. During his visit to Quetta SSGC office he was briefed on overall matters and challenges of UFG and new Pipeline. The Minister also directed the concerned officials of SSGC to expedite the work on this pipeline so that this winter it benefits people.

He further said that the distribution of gas has been extended in many parts of Balochistan. Bypass system of Kalaat to Mastung , Awaraan LPG plant, Gwadar/hub/Quetta and rest augmentations and enhancements works in Qilla Abdullah and Zargoon lines have been done during this setup. This improvement and efforts will go a long way in reducing the sense of deprivation prevailing among the masses of Balochistan. Along this a lot of gas exploration is under way to explore new ventures and potential. The Minister also paid visit of Gwadar/Awaran/Lasbela 2D survey work.
