President Mamnoon Hussain has said that Pakistan is endowed with rich literary and cultural heritage and impressed upon the need to effectively promote it.

The President said this while talking to Irfan Siddiqui, Advisor to Prime Minister on National History & Literary Heritage, who called on him at the Aiwan-e-Sadr, Islamabad on Thursday.

Mr. Irfan Siddiqui apprised the President about matters pertaining to his ministry and further informed about the planned programmes to promote literary and cultural activities in the country.
