President Mamnoon Hussain has said that trade between Pakistan and Sudan can further increase through bilateral cooperation in different fields. The President said that Pakistan and Sudan share strong bonds of friendship based on common religion, history and culture.

The President was talking to the Special Envoy/Minister of International Cooperation of Sudan Kamal Hasan Ali who along-with a delegation called on him at the Aiwan-e-Sadr, Islamabad on Friday. The special envoy brought a special message from Sudanese President. President Mamnoon Hussain assured that thorough consideration will be given to Sudanese request for support to representation of Sudan in World Health Organization.

The President called for regular exchange of delegations in different fields between the two countries for further cementing bilateral relations. The President expressed confidence that participation of Sudan in defence exhibition IDEAS-2016 will open up new horizons for bilateral cooperation.

The President noted that both countries support each other on various regional and international fora. The President also conveyed his best wishes for the people and leadership of Sudan.
