The level of technical education in Pakistan is being raised to come at par with international standards. The skill being inculcated in the youth by National Vocational and Technical Training Commission would help them in finding employment opportunities. These views were expressed by Executive Director Mr. Zulfiqar Ahmed Cheema while addressing the participants of certificate distribution ceremony for Competency Based Training assessor’s course. He further said that the certificate issued by NAVTTC is accepted all over the world which would ultimately open the international job market for skilled youth of Pakistan.

Executive Director Mr. Zulfiqar Ahmad Cheema congratulated the assessors upon successful completion of their training and said that the assessors and CBT have a vital role in establishing an efficient TVET system and its success. He appreciated the hard work of assessors and advised them to do work with honesty and dedication.  He also pointed out the qualities of a good assessor saying a good assessor is passionate and has complete command over the subject.

Moreover, Mr. Zulfiqar Cheema informed the audience that skill competitions would be held all over Pakistan in November 2016. The winners of these competitions will be awarded cash prizes along with a tour to European countries. Besides, this time around best instructors and best institutions will be awarded with prizes and shields respectively. He said the awareness about inquiring skills and the interest of youth is increasing day by day. NAVTTC also provides job placement facility for its graduates.

A number of Extinguished guests and office bearers of chamber of commerce also attend the event.
