A renowned Qawal Group from Pakistan ‘Badr Ali Khan and Bahadur Ali Khan’ rocked Cairo Citadel with their alluring performance at the eve of 9th Round of ‘Samaa International Festival for Spiritual Music and Chanting ‘ held at Joseph’s Well Theatre, Cairo. Performers and spiritual musicians from all over the wold including Kuwait, Morocco, France, Indonesia, India and Pakistan participated in the festival, says a press release received here today from Cairo, Egypt.

Helmy al Namnam, Minister of Culture Egypt, while inaugurating the festival, expressed his deepest gratitude to the performers and said that music was the language of peace and humanity.

A large gathering including members from the diplomatic community watched the performance. It was an impressive show and a message of peace to the entire world through the participation of over 20 countries from across the world with their diverse cultures. Pakistani Qawal Badr Ali Khan and Bahadur Ali Khan received well-deserved appreciation from the audience.
