PR No. 177 CHIEF MINISTER GILGIT BALTISTAN CALLS ON THE PRIME MINISTER Islamabad

Hafiz Hafeez Ur Rehman, Chief Minister Gilgit Baltistan called on Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif at PM House today.

The Chief Minister apprised the Prime Minister on various ongoing development projects related to Gilgit Baltistan, during the meeting. He also apprised the Prime Minister on party matters of PML-N pertaining to GB.

The Prime Minister said that people of Gilgit Baltistan have rendered great sacrifices for Pakistan, which reflects their passionate attachment with the country. Contributions of the people of GB in the national development and prosperity are most praiseworthy, added the Prime Minister.

The Prime Minister said that the present government has initiated various developmental initiatives for the socio-economic development of GB. The Prime Minister said that he would soon be visiting GB to review the progress on different projects.
